SAMM Technology is a Turkish company founded in 2003 with very low capital by four engineer friends who believed that the engineers and technicians of this country could create world-class value.
SAMM Technology, which offers products and solutions based on the question "What does the customer want, what do they actually need?", aims for the highest level of competence among all its employees within its workflow, and as a result, customer satisfaction. Aware of the need for expertise in the products and services it offers, it always provides the "optimum" solution, offering the right product in a cost-effective manner.
SAMM Technology was registered as an R&D Center in 2018 under Law No. 5746. It has developed projects in various fields, including fiber sensing technologies, in collaboration with numerous research institutions and universities such as TÜBİTAK, Koç University, Gebze Institute of Technology, and İzmir Institute of Technology, and has transformed the outputs of these projects into commercial products. Furthermore, it has added value to its work with 8 patents, 3 utility models, 1 product design certificate, hundreds of product designs, and additional desktop and mobile software.
Established through a collaboration between Bilkent Holding and SAMM Technology, METSAM will begin producing optical fiber preforms, the basic raw material for quartz series optical fiber production, in 2023 following the completion of its facilities in Ankara. Furthermore, METSAM plans to conduct R&D studies in photonics and related fields.
SAMM Technology, aiming to contribute to equal opportunities in education, has donated computers and IoT components to village schools that have not yet been introduced to software, and to students and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. It also provides regular scholarships to 17 university students.
