Polar CBS Engineering was established in 2010 under the Ministry of Industry and Trade's Technopreneurship Capital Support Program.

With ten years of experience in the software and technology sectors, Polar GIS Engineering possesses the same enthusiasm, speed, and flexibility with which it could operate, as if it were founded yesterday.

R&D Activities

In 2010, under the leadership of our founder, H. Evren ÇOKÇETİN, a highly qualified Computer Engineer, we were awarded the Technopreneurship Capital Support, a significant fund among the Ministry of Industry's R&D grants. Alongside our "Smart Mineral Detection Software" project, which was successfully completed and approved by the Ministry of Industry, we continue to pursue new R&D projects focusing on high-tech engineering and production software for medium-sized enterprises.

Intelligent Mineral Detection Software (AMTY)

The Intelligent Mineral Detection Software processes multi-band satellite and aerial images to identify surface mineral types detectable in the relevant reflection spectra, and compiles these minerals as geographic information system map data.

Processing this geographic information system map data related to surface minerals into usable information requires supervised-learning and artificial intelligence-supported software.

There is no software specifically designed for this purpose in our country or globally. In this respect, the planned software development will be a first of its kind and will make a significant contribution to our country's technological advancement. Once the system is developed and becomes a usable product, it will facilitate mineral exploration processes in the Turkish mining sector and reduce exploration and survey costs for companies.

History

• 2019 – KOSGEB – KOBIGEL Grant for Increasing the Competitiveness of IT SMEs was awarded for the second phase of the Mikro ERP (ERP for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) project.

• 2018 – KOSGEB – KOBIGEL Grant was awarded for the second phase of the Mikro ERP (ERP for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises) project.

• 2016 – Consulting Unit was established.

• 2015 – The first EU Technical Assistance Support sub-contract was signed.

• 2014 – Our head office moved from Bilkent CyberPark Technopark to the City Center.

• 2013 – Numerous public tenders of varying sizes were won, completed, and delivered.

• 2012 – The first public tender was won.

• 2011 – A prototype of the Smart Mineral Detection Software Project was developed under the Ministry of Industry's Technopreneurship Capital R&D Program Support.

• 2010 – Polar GIS Engineering was established.
