ITUNOVA Technology Transfer Office presents academic studies and new technologies developed at Istanbul Technical University to industry in order to meet its needs and provide added value to our country's national development. Established to serve as ITU's technology transfer interface, ITUNOVA TTO aims to bring 'knowledge' together with industry and to commercialize it.

Established in February 2013 with the aim of facilitating access to scientific and technological knowledge, generating technological knowledge, ensuring the commercialization of generated knowledge, and supporting technology transfer and entrepreneurship, İTÜNOVA Technology Inc. began operating as İTÜNOVA TTO in January 2014 with the support of TÜBİTAK's 1513 Call for Proposals. Defined as İTÜ's 'Technology Transfer Office', İTÜNOVA Technology Inc. is positioned as a 'company' with shareholding by İTÜ, the İTÜ Foundation, and İTÜ ARI Technopark, and offers its services at the standards and speed of the private sector.

The vision of İTÜNOVA TTO is to increase İTÜ's capacity to produce scientific and technological knowledge on an international scale and to commercialize this knowledge to make it more beneficial to society. Its mission is to increase the capacity for scientific and technological knowledge production through academy-industry collaboration, to present new technologies based on this knowledge to industry, to provide a more flexible environment for research through national and international funding, to protect the knowledge produced, and to create suitable platforms for entrepreneurs who will produce this knowledge.
